Lesson plans are tailored for the individual, so that you get what you want out of them - don't want to read notation? No problem - coaching by ear can be just as effective! The emphasis is on developing great technique, creating strong, musical, band members, and making you as ambidextrous as possible - but above all, having fun on the drums! I teach a broad range of styles, but can help you to develop specialist skills to help you play like your favourite drummers. Whether it's rock you want to play, blues, swing, if reggae's your thing or even hip-hop, r 'n' b, or drum 'n' bass - I can help you get there! Many teachers start with a year of marching drum patterns on the snare drum alone - I guarantee you will be playing a full beat by the end of your 1st lesson! Rates: £20/hr, £15/40mins.
